    Operations Associate

    The Strathdee Group - a premier woman-owned Democratic political fundraising and strategy consulting firm - is hiring an Operations Associate. The candidate will work with multiple Strathdee Group clients for the duration of the cycle.

    The Operations Associate will work closely with the firm's principal to provide operational support to the principal and office. The right candidate is process-oriented and has great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a great work ethic to join our team.

    Duties:

    • Assist with managing principal's and team calendar
    • Intake requests from the team and coordinate approvals with the principal
    • Set times and agendas for weekly meetings with team members to track project deadlines and deliverables for weekly meetings and send follow-up emails with meeting summaries.
    • Handle incoming calls and emails
    • Donor research and help team out with memos as needed
    • Help create donor-facing materials, such as invites, powerpoint presentations
    • Help to staff in-person fundraising events, call time, and meetings as needed
    • Drafting and writing memos for clients as needed
    • Work with the principal on submitting and tracking reimbursements from clients
    • Assist with various office tasks and projects as needed
    • Assist with one client with call time, events, and memos

    Qualifications:

    • 1 cycle of campaign experience preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
    • Experience with NGP preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail and process-oriented with a positive, team player mentality
    • Able to manage multiple calendars, schedule meetings, and avoid scheduling conflicts
    • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
    • Maintains strict confidentiality across internal, client, and leadership matters

    Position: Operations Associate

    Benefits: Eligible for medical insurance and dental & vision.

    Location: Washington, DC

    Hours: This position's schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and will require evening and potentially, weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
