    divh2Job Title/h2pResponsibilities:/ppThe safe boarding of customers and luggage onto aircraft and monitoring movements of planes while on the ground/ppCommunicating with pilots, operations and ticket agents in a clear and concise manner/ppCommunicating with TSA and the local LEO concerning the security of flights and passengers/ppLoading and off loading of passengers in a safe and courteous way/ppAccurate and clear marshalling of aircraft with good hand signals/ppKnowledge of emergency procedures and handling of hazardous materials/ppAccurate communication via radio to all pilots, operations and fellow employees/ppKnowledge of SIDA areas and ability to challenge unknown persons/ppKnowledge of firearm procedures/ppMaintaining customer relations/ppSafe operation of ground equipment/ppAbility to carry out de-ice procedures/ppAccurate addition of baggage weight/ppDrive the passenger shuttle bus, if applicable to station/ppAdditional duties as assigned/ppQualifications:/ppAirline work experience preferred/ppAirline reservation system experience preferred/ppMust be at least 18 years old/ppMust hold a high school diploma or equivalent/ppIf location requires any type of driving such as baggage delivery, fueling, etc., applicant must hold and maintain a drivers license valid in that location/ppMust be able to lift up to 70 lbs./ppBasic computer skills required/ppExcellent communication and excellent customer service skills required/ppAbility to interact effectively with others/ppAbility to work independently and adapt to changing work priorities/ppAbility to communicate effectively, orally and in writing/ppFlexibility of schedule is a must/ppThis position will often require working nights, weekends and holidays/ppMust exhibit exceptional knowledge of Cape Air and must embody the Cape Air MOCHA HAGoTDI spirit/p/div
