    Security Officer

    Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community is seeking a Security Officer to add to our team of exceptional professionals. Deerfield is an outstanding senior living community with a resort-like atmosphere, exceptional amenities, and great quality of life for our residents and staff.

    At Deerfield, you will work in a clean and safe work environment and will help to ensure the safety of residents and guests by responding to requests for assistance, by patrolling the grounds, and by making regular safety checks throughout your shift. We have state-of-the-art equipment and a commitment to service excellence in all that we do.

    We are looking for candidates who are committed to ensuring a safe living environment for our residents and who can respond quickly to inquiries while remaining calm and focused. Prior experience in Security is helpful, but we will train the right candidate.

    Available Full-Time Shifts

    • 6:00 AM - 2:30PM

    Security Officer will:

    • Actively Patrol Deerfield Campus on foot, in the departmental golf cart and security vehicle (with potential for up to 6-8 miles of walking per shift)
    • Must have basic knowledge skills for using Smart Phones, Tablets, PC's and laptops (Able to Create Word Documents, Outlook, Excel Documents, Scanning, Copy to Paste information to reports)
    • Required to complete Daily Reports, Incident Reports, Fire Reports, Life Safety Reports as required
    • Security Officer will be trained on Life Safety Equipment, Access Control and Work Order System
    • Driver's license with acceptable driving record required
    • Assist with Campus Shuttle
