    THE WORK
    Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Level 3 DevSecOps Engineer with a Secret clearance to work from our Colorado Springs, CO location.

    This position is contingent upon the program award expected June, 2026.

    As DevSecOps Engineer, Sr. you will:
    Perform technical planning, design, development, and integration for total system life cycle.
    Develop, test, and install mission updates for operational and test systems.
    Design, develop, document, test, & debug software.
    Develop, test, and install mission critical patches for operational and test systems.
    Deploy software/hardware deliveries, supports special projects, and offer an assistance to operational crews and contractor teams to resolve system issues.
    Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development & analyze system capabilities to resolve program problems.
    Validate incorporation of features & use cases into implemented designs.

    This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) role where candidates typically require a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

    Basic Qualifications

    Active DOD8570 certified - Sec+, CISSP
    Experience with Unix/Linux
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
    Must be able to work in a production/operational environment
    Must be able to interact and support our customers on a daily basis.
    Must be willing and able to travel (10-20%) across Front Range of Colorado
    Active Secret Clearance required prior to start
    Ability to lift 50lbs

    Desired skills

    Experience with crypto devices (KG-175 or similar)
    Demonstrated ability to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
    Active Secret clearance to start
    Experience with Storage
    Experience with virtualized operating system concepts and administration
    Strong Troubleshooting skills
    Strong Interpersonal skills
    Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
    Ability to interact and support our customer's requests on a daily basis.

    Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
    Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
    (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
