Criminal Intelligence AnalystLocation: Springfield, Virginia, United States.Bridge Defense is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst for full-time salaried positions supporting the DHS FPS Intelligence Analysis Division. This is a pipeline/future needs position.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide intelligence services related to the analysis, processing, development, and distribution of strategic and criminal intelligence supporting Federal Protective Services operations.Required Qualifications, Education, and ExperienceTS/SCI ClearanceEducation/Experience requirements:Associate degree – 4 years of experience as an intelligence analystBachelor's Degree – 2 years of experience as an intelligence analystMaster's Degree – no experience requiredCurrent Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (or higher DIE Certification) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.Work experience demonstrating ability to perform strategic, operational, and tactical analysis based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources.Demonstrated adherence to and application of IC analytic tradecraft standards (e.g., ICDS 203, 206, 208).Working knowledge of databases and software used in the intelligence environment, including Microsoft Office suite, M3, TAC, HOTR, Google Earth, Intelink, National Exploitation System, Gemini, MIDB, GCCS-J, and various message handling systems.Excellent oral, written, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines that meet or exceed established analytical standards.Desired Qualifications, Education, and ExperienceBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or related fields.Prior experience performing Open-Source Collection.Criminal Intelligence analysis experience.Experience working with DHS data sources.Knowledge of DHS FPS intelligence authorities, component missions, and role in supporting the DHS Intelligence Enterprise.Specific knowledge of Title 18 authorities.Knowledge of multiple open-source areas including surface, deep, and dark web.Knowledge of multiple collection techniques or approaches.Experience developing a collection plan and dissemination practices.Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, common Open-Source tools, and DHS data systems.Experience researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR).The Successful Candidate Will PossessStrong risk management, communication, teamwork, and conflict management skills.Analytical mindset with ability to prioritize needs, requirements, and issues.Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of staff and management.Independence in judgment, relationship building, and consensus development.Critical thinking with strong technical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.Solid written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to successful conclusion and deliver knowledge to team members.Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, collaborative, and motivated to champion continuous improvement.Ability to develop peer networks across an enterprise to maintain technology awareness and support problem resolution.Ability to operate across technical boundaries and work in compute and storage operational capacities.Technically curious and driven to learn new skills.General FactorsMay require work within a compressed schedule and overtime when schedules demand it.Willing to travel if needed.No relocation assistance.Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long periods and lift 20 pounds occasionally.Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.Pay range: USD 72,000 – 75,000 per year (Springfield, VA (FPS)).Bridge Defense is an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
