Dispatcher I 96 Weatherford TX - Weatherford, TX 76088 Overview Position Type Dispatch Job Shift 8hr Travel Percentage Negligible Category IC1 Description Hours: Monday to Friday 8a-5p Position Summary This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area. Essential FunctionsAssess customer needs and timing of deliveries Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members Monitor web portals for station inventories Solicit freight from customers Create loads in dispatch system Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system) On-call duties as neededQualifications QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent Excellent conflict resolution and skills Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsKenan Advantage Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
