    Systems Development Engineer II, ADC Security Services (A2SE)Job ID: 10440061 | Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc.Location: Denver, CO, USA.Salary range: $129,200.00 – $174,800.00 USD annually.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy scalable security solutions across thousands of devices in ADC regions, continuously improving processes to handle massive-scale operations.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues across multiple languages (Python, Java, TypeScript, Bash, Ruby).Develop tools, automation, and monitoring solutions to reduce manual toil and improve operational excellence.Conduct deep-dive troubleshooting and technical post-mortems to identify root causes of complex issues.Proactively address system variances affecting major services, investigating service inter-dependencies and region-specific configurations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure maintenance and drive positive customer experiences.Design new systems, review code, perform design reviews, and contribute to organization-wide initiatives to improve the builder experience.Mentor other engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and technical excellence.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional).Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large‑scale infrastructure.Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.2+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).4+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands‑on systems engineering.Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).Knowledge of database systems and SQL.4+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems.4+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.BenefitsComprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription).Basic Life & AD&D insurance and optional Supplemental life plans.Employee Assistance Program and Mental Health Support.Medical Advice Line and Flexible Spending Accounts.Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage.401(k) matching.Paid time off and parental leave.Equal Opportunity EmploymentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
