We seek creative individuals to help PBSC fulfill its mission of inspiring hope, advancing skills, and transforming lives.Description Duties and Responsibilities (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary)Assists department with assigned projectsCompletes challenging projects and assignmentsAdheres to work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing staff behaviorAdheres to policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential informationRelates and applies the knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the work being performedPrepares for and utilizes opportunities of learningConsistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignmentsProvides management with periodic progress updates.Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.Required Minimum Qualifications Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDActively enrolled throughout the internship at the CollegeCumulative GPA of 2.0 or higherCompletion of 30 or more credit hours of college coursework in an aligned degree program18 years of age or older on first day of employmentKnowledge ofMicrosoft Office Professional or similar applicationSkilled inProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Verbal and written communicationsAbility toDemonstrate critical thinking & interpersonal skillsWork with diverse populations and varying education levelsPreferred Qualifications Completion of 60 or more credit hours of college coursework in an aligned degree programWork Environment and Physical Demand Lift, carry, push, pull, install, or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 poundsReach and grasp objectsStoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawlSit for extended periods of timeUse of video display terminalUse of manual dexterity and fine motor skillsIdentify and distinguish colors and shades of colorCommunicate information orally and in writingReceive and understand information through oral and written communicationProofread and check documents for accuracyWork a fluctuating work scheduleThis job description is intended to be generic in nature and describe the essential functions of the job.
