Systems Test Engineer Requirements Verification & Integration Testing Full-Time with an Employee Owned and Best Places to Work Contractor Onsite in Huntsville, AL | Schedule: 9x80 We are seeking a Systems Test Engineer with experience in requirements verification, software integration, systems engineering, and test execution supporting complex defense and technology programs. This role requires expertise in requirements management, test artifact development, manual testing, Python automation scripting, and systems engineering throughout the system lifecycle, with experience supporting software verification and validation activities. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain system requirements, use cases, test plans, procedures, and verification artifacts. * Support requirements verification and validation activities through manual testing and system integration efforts. * Create, execute, and document test cases to verify compliance with system and software requirements. * Utilize requirements management tools, including DOORS, to support requirements traceability and verification. * Support software integration, test execution, defect identification, and resolution activities. * Develop and maintain test documentation, reports, and verification evidence. * Collaborate with systems engineering, software development, and test teams throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. * Apply systems engineering principles across requirements development, design, integration, testing, and verification activities. * Develop systems engineering artifacts, including specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, and Trade Studies. * Support automation initiatives using Python and scripting tools to improve test efficiency and repeatability. * Participate in technical reviews, presentations, and engineering discussions supporting program objectives. Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law * Active Secret Clearance required * Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). * Minimum 5 years of related systems engineering, integration, software testing, or requirements verification experience. * Experience with system design, requirements development, use cases, test planning, procedure development, and test execution. * Experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS. * Experience with software integration, software testing, and requirements verification methodologies. * Experience developing test artifacts, test cases, verification procedures, and executing manual tests. * Working knowledge of Python and automation scripting. * Ability to analyze complex technical problems and document findings in technical work products. * Experience working independently and within cross-functional engineering teams. * Ability to support an onsite, closed-area work environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Program. * Broad systems engineering experience across the full systems engineering "V" lifecycle. * Experience with software development processes and software requirements verification. * Battle Management or Fire Control systems experience. * MBSE experience and/or INCOSE certification. * Experience developing systems engineering artifacts, including: * Specifications * Interface Control Documents (ICDs) * Use Cases * System Architecture Descriptions * Trade Studies * Technical Engineering Documentation Full-Time position with an employee-owned company that offers a comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental and vision insurance program, 401(k) plan, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and 401(k) plan with company match, tuition and training reimbursement, and an incentive compensation program.
