    About the Role:

AggDirect is seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Dispatcher to join our team in Beltsville, MD. As a leading tech-enabled aggregate brokerage and hauling company, we connect construction projects with haulers and materials. In this role, you will heavily utilize AggDirects proprietary dispatching software and mobile platform to orchestrate daily hauling schedules, manage commercial drivers, and streamline the movement of stone, sand, gravel, and dirt across the region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Master Proprietary Systems: Learn, utilize, and provide driver feedback on AggDirects custom digital dispatch and fleet-tracking software.
    • Coordinate Digital Fleet Schedules: Assign, route, and dispatch independent dump truck drivers entirely through our platform.
    • Monitor Live Tracking Data: Track active deliveries using our custom software interface to ensure real-time visibility and on-time performance.
    • Resolve Logistics Issues: Adjust routes, reassign jobs, and handle unexpected site delays directly within the system platform.
    • Audit Electronic Hauling Tickets: Review and verify digital scale tickets and automated proof-of-delivery receipts for daily billing.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in dispatching, preferably in construction, aggregates, trucking, or heavy logistics.
    • Tech Adaptability: Proven ability to quickly learn, test, and master specialized, in-house software platforms rather than relying solely on traditional phone calls.
    • Geographic Knowledge: Strong familiarity with major highways and construction corridors in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia.
    • Communication Skills: Ability to speak clearly, assertively, and professionally under high-pressure situations.
    • Availability: Flexibility to work early morning hours and some weekends to align with standard construction site schedules.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Bilingual Ability: Fluency in both English and Spanish is a major plus for driver communication.

    Benefits and Culture

    • Competitive hourly pay or salary based on logistics experience.
    • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages.
    • Paid time off and holiday pay.
    • A forward-thinking office environment utilizing cutting-edge tech in the heart of Beltsville.
