    The Gail Borden Public Library District is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and positive individual to join our Technical Services Department as a part-time Assistant. If you take pride in accuracy, enjoy mastering a variety of procedures, and bring a professional attitude to supporting library operations, we invite you to apply.As a Technical Services Assistant, you play a vital role in connecting our community with the resources they need. Your primary focus will be managing the flow of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and LINKin materials, ensuring that our patrons receive their requested items efficiently and that our collection is well-maintained.Your typical day-to-day activities will include: Completing ILL or LINKin requests, including reviewing and prioritizing requests and unpacking items.Checking items in and out to libraries and/or patrons.Retrieving items from shelving or bins to assist with holds and transiting itemsHandling renewal requests or any anomalies that ariseAssisting with the physical processing of library materials and cleaning discs.Tabulating statistics to track daily volume.Processing library materials.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.Organized and above average attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable with technology and able to utilize a PC, label printer, and RFID pad.Ability to learn how to use our ILS system: Sierra and our ILL software: WorldShare.Knowledge of general library operations preferable.Hours 18 hours per week; Monday, Thursday & Friday; daytime hours.$17.00 See below for a full list of benefits**#J-18808-Ljbffr
