The Security Tech monitors residents who are under Department of Corrections (DOC) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) jurisdiction both inside the facility and in the community.

This job operates in a residential community corrections facility. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a copier, fax machine, and computers.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and have close contact with residents while searching their person. This would require the ability to bend or stoop as necessary. This position must be mobile throughout the facility, as well as work on a computer for periods.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time or part-time status dependent on the position hired for with a set schedule that allows the same two days off per week.
Travel:
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
