    Position Loss Prevention & Security AssociateLocation Saint Louis, MOJob Id 447Openings 1Summary Under the direction of site leadership, the Security & Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the safety and security of the facility and surrounding campus. This role supports company security practices, protects assets, and provides a high level of customer service to associates, visitors, and vendors.Schedule & Pay Monday 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM; Thursday – Saturday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM$20.00/hour + $1.00 shift differentialEssential Functions Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the campus, including buildings and surrounding grounds.Conduct routine patrols to identify and address safety or security risks.Deter unauthorized access and enforce access control procedures for buildings and restricted areas.Respond to alarms, emergencies, and irregular activities, including fire or safety hazards.Deter criminal activity and elevate incidents in accordance with company procedures.Provide customer service by assisting associates, visitors, and contractors with directions and inquiries.Maintain control of facility entry points using established admitting procedures and visitor protocols.Represent BGDC Distribution in a professional manner at all times.Build and maintain positive working relationships with associates, clients, and vendors.Complete administrative responsibilities including safety inspections, incident reports, and daily, weekly, and monthly security reporting.Support safety and security audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.Qualifications & Experience Minimum of one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military environment required.Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations while maintaining control of the environment.Experience utilizing surveillance systems, monitoring equipment, and access control logs.Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with computers, security systems, and visitor management tools.Education & Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent required.BGDC Distribution is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
