Senior Materials Representative – Cycle CountingSenior Materials Representative – Cycle CountingLocationUSA, Louisville, KYHow You'll Create PossibilitiesEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organize area for inventory cycle counts, ensure consolidate parts, ensure FIFO inventory rotation, check receipts and scrapCycle count parts as assigned to include off site warehouses and inventory on yardAssist in identification and reconciliation of all inventory and cycle count variances using problem solving skillsConduct yard checks, as needed to ensure record accuracy of trailers on premises as reflected in TrackxAssist in developing, auditing and managing SOP's for successful and accurate inventory transactions and movementsParticipates and is key contributor in annual physical inventoryParticipate on AWO's and embrace lean manufacturing concepts in efforts to continuously improve materials work streamsTracking & Stakeholder AlignmentInteract with materials departments to improve cycle count programReport counts and maintain accurate recordsCommunicate effectively to key stakeholder's issues that arise resulting in disruptions due to inventory availabilitySupport other cycle counting initiatives as they occurMinimum QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent, or actively pursuing in business or related fieldAbility to communicate effectively, take initiative, be organized, & problem solveDuties and hours may change based on the need of the businessExperience using Oracle, Trackx, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or related fieldWorking experience in inventory control type functionKnowledge of parts identification, part processes and proceduresAbility to become ERP SuperuserAttention to detail with analytical and organizational skillsGE Appliances is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
