Overview Basic FunctionThis job's key function is to perform data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to support Gerdau's marketing and sales processes and practices. The role should also continually develop and manage action plans, often acting as a lead to coordinate projects and improvements. The Market Intelligence Analyst will regularly work with minimal supervision from the Pricing and Market Intelligence Manager on projects by developing and managing the action plans, analyzing research results, and presenting strategies and deploying them to help the organization meet its strategic goals.Scope The Market Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for analysis, recommendations, development and deployment of action plans and process improvements with little need of validation by the Pricing and Market Intelligence Manager. This role is accountable for data stewardship (automation and processes), Power BI (development and routine reporting), regression/statistical modeling and predictive capabilities (development and routine analysis) and work as lead coordinating projects. The Market Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for creating actionable insights, collaboration, predictive analysis, machine learning, data scrapping and recommending specific actions to drive business objectives. The Market Intelligence Analyst must work to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to continually capture new market insights and to share them within the organization.Abilities and Skills Openness (both learning and new ideas), goals oriented, time management, self-starter, mental-agility, relationship building, communication skills, presentation skills (for training and taking technical issues and presenting them to business users), strong business acumen, etc. Ability to decipher problems and bring forth solutions to solve those problems.Will this position require travel?
