    Dispatcher/Supervisor

    The Dispatcher/Supervisor is directly responsible for the effective and efficient dispatch communications during his/her shift. This includes adhering to the policies and procedures of the Transportation Department and consistently providing top quality services to its participants.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Will be trained in full orientation of NeighborHealth, PACE and the Transportation Department to equip the Dispatcher with the knowledge and skills required performing the job in accordance with the company standards.
    • Provide effective and efficient response and transport to all participants, PACE centers and requests.
    • Dispatch vehicles to meet the transport needs of the PACE participants i.e., answer phones, schedule and verify trip information, assign vehicles and drivers, dispatch, etc.
    • Will enter and maintain customer information in computer system including names, addresses and other participant's information.
    • Assign all breaks and lunch times to all drivers to ensure maximum coverage.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • HS Diploma/GED required.
    • Current driver's license.
    • Must have at least one year experience in this field and preferably one year experience as a dispatcher.
    • Must have a working knowledge of the complete service area.
    • Must have computer skills and use systems such as Microsoft Office and dispatching software.
    • Good communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to make common sense decisions. Ability to complete CPR and First Aide Certifications.
