Position OverviewLockheed Martin is seeking a Level 2 Systems Engineer with a Secret clearance to work from our Sunnyvale, CA location. The role will support Satellite Constellation Operation and Sustainment activities by providing on-console subsystem support, resolving and investigating anomalies, analyzing subsystem performance, tracking trends, conducting detail trade studies and reliability analysis, and identifying potential enhancements to the constellation and its service.ResponsibilitiesProvide on-console subsystem support to maintain constellation operations.Resolve and investigate anomalies to minimize service interruptions.Analyze subsystem performance and track timeline and trends to ensure health and status.Conduct detailed trade studies and reliability analysis.Identify potential enhancements to the constellation and the service it provides.Basic QualificationsExcellent team orientation and willingness to learn.Experience with Satellite Operation support.Active DoD Secret clearance required.Bachelor's degree and at least 1+ year of professional experience.Desired SkillsExperience with Satellite Electrical Power System.Knowledge of Battery Technologies, cell balancing techniques, battery management.Knowledge of telemetry and trend analysis.Knowledge of MATLAB and Python or other scripting languages.Strong communication skills and experience presenting to peers, leadership, and customers.Security ClearanceThis position requires a government security clearance; a U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.Location & ScheduleSunnyvale, CA. Onsite full-time.PayThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas) and other states is $73,400 - $129,260.
