cFocus Software seeks a GIS Engineer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field with 4-12+ years of GIS development experience
  • Proficient in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and programming (Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with geospatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial)
  • Knowledge of geospatial web services (WMS, WFS, WCS)
  • Understanding of coordinate systems and map projections

Duties:
  • Develops and maintains geospatial information systems and applications. Implements GIS data processing, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
  • Integrates geospatial data from multiple sources and formats.
  • Develops custom GIS tools and plugins.
  • Optimizes geospatial data storage and retrieval. Implements geospatial web services and APis.
  • Ensures compliance with geospatial standards and metadata requirements
