Amentum is seeking a Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst to support the DIA Office of Counterintelligence in Washington, D.C. to conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.Responsibilities Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies.Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the Areas of Operational Responsibility and Areas of Interest.Assesses future and on‑going political‑military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.).Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and other senior leadership.Connects pieces of information from different sources such as field agents and forms reliable reports on anti‑terrorism and national security to address potential threats.Assesses the believability of the information from reliable sources, collects it, and validates intelligence.Performs all other position‑related duties as assigned or requested.Minimum Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen.Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph.Bachelor's degree and at least 4–8 years of job‑related experience or equivalent, with at least a portion of relevant experience within the last two years.Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirm completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced.Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.Excellent communications and analytical skills.Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs; mastery of Department of Defense policies, procedures, and tools.Compensation $110,000–$125,000 (the range is a good‑faith estimate; actual compensation may vary).Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement benefits (including 401(k) matching)Educational reimbursementParental leaveEmployee stock purchase planTax‑saving optionsDisability and life insurancePet insuranceEEO Statement Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
