Supervisory Firefighter (Sparta, Wisconsin, United States)

Job duties include:

Establishing jobs and performance requirements.
Performing as shift supervisor over crew chiefs, truck drivers, and journeyman firefighters engaged in all activities relative to fire prevention, fire fighting, inspection, and standby at air field.
Serving as the Incident Commander with a specialization in Operations.
Developing plans, procedures, methods, and techniques to provide and sustain an efficient and effective fire suppression and rescue force.
Making decisions and taking command to ensure that mutual aid support is requested to protect installation personnel and government assets when required.
Responding and taking charge on emergency calls and urgent calls for assistance.
