Job Summary
As an Area Support Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. You will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to any security incidents. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of clients and their properties
- Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activities or security breaches
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies, following established protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security activities and incidents
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Conduct security checks of vehicles, bags, and personal belongings as required
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Assist with training and mentoring new security personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or Management team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or a related field
- Valid security license or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
