Job Title

Responsibilities:

The safe boarding of customers and luggage onto aircraft and monitoring movements of planes while on the ground

Communicating with pilots, operations and ticket agents in a clear and concise manner

Communicating with TSA and the local LEO concerning the security of flights and passengers

Loading and off loading of passengers in a safe and courteous way

Accurate and clear marshalling of aircraft with good hand signals

Knowledge of emergency procedures and handling of hazardous materials

Accurate communication via radio to all pilots, operations and fellow employees

Knowledge of SIDA areas and ability to challenge unknown persons

Knowledge of firearm procedures

Maintaining customer relations

Safe operation of ground equipment

Ability to carry out de-ice procedures

Accurate addition of baggage weight

Drive the passenger shuttle bus, if applicable to station

Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Airline work experience preferred

Airline reservation system experience preferred

Must be at least 18 years old

Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent

If location requires any type of driving such as baggage delivery, fueling, etc., applicant must hold and maintain a driver's license valid in that location

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Basic computer skills required

Excellent communication and excellent customer service skills required

Ability to interact effectively with others

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing work priorities

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing

Flexibility of schedule is a must

This position will often require working nights, weekends and holidays

Must exhibit exceptional knowledge of Cape Air and must embody the Cape Air MOCHA HAGoTDI spirit
