Inter-Con Security is seeking a qualified and experienced Qualifying Agent (QA) to support our operations in the State of Utah. The Qualifying Agent serves as the designated individual responsible for maintaining compliance with state licensing requirements and ensuring the company operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have successfully passed the Utah State Qualifying Agent examination, meet all state eligibility requirements, and possess significant supervisory experience within the security industry.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the company's designated Qualifying Agent for Utah operations.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing, regulatory, and permitting requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the company's standing with relevant state regulatory agencies.
- Provide guidance on licensing requirements, regulatory changes, and compliance obligations.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries as needed.
- Assist leadership in implementing policies and procedures that align with state requirements.
- Maintain required records, documentation, and reporting related to licensing and compliance.
- Collaborate with operations and management teams to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Successfully passed the Utah State Qualifying Agent (QA) examination.
- Current resident of the State of Utah.
- Minimum of 6,000 hours of supervisory experience, as required by state regulations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security industry regulations and licensing requirements.
- Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and operational teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience serving as a Qualifying Agent for a licensed security company.
- Experience working with state licensing boards and regulatory agencies.
- Background in private security, law enforcement, military leadership, or related fields.
- Knowledge of multi-state security licensing and compliance requirements.
