Description
Overview of Job Responsibilities:
ICEE DSD Dispatcher is required to be quick at multi-tasking. Must have the ability to retain information given. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work as a team player. Ability to handle high call volumes from field personnel daily.
Strong organizational skills. Strong follow-up skills. Must type 45 wpm. Must have previous dispatching background in routing and mapping.
Essential Functions:
- Run daily reports for area Service Managers
- Routing and scheduling of multiple Field Personnel daily
- Handling priority accounts and managing work volume in each area
- Calling Customers every day with updates and ETA's
- Updating Field Managers daily with new calls and priority calls that come in
- Communicating to Field Personnel constantly on phones, email, & PDA
- Routing and re-routing calls sent to Technicians / Route Drivers on minute's notice
- Closing out high volumes of calls
Competencies:
- Strong attendance Record
- Strong knowledge of Dispatch functions and work flow with all areas in Dispatch
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced department with ability to follow through with each task given
- Ability to work in a Team Environment and assisting fellow co-workers when needed
- Ability to adapt to ongoing changes in procedures and policies
- Able to process high volumes of work on a daily basis with positive outcome
- Strong knowledge in map reading with the understanding of routing calls
Education and Experience:
- Prior role dispatching service techs with a minimum 1 to 2 years' experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals.
Pay: from $19.50/hour based on experience education, skills, training, and certifications
Schedule: Tuesday Friday, 9am6pm and Saturday, 7am4pm
