Overview
JANUS Research Group is currently seeking an Intelligence Systems Analyst SSO for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8). The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS G-8 coordinates with ASA(ALT) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives, and with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for the future force materiel modernization enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Organize, coordinate, and synchronize working groups in support of the Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC).
- Write and brief information on assigned Programs.
- Analyze, prioritize, and validate Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Cyber requirements to provide timely warfighting capabilities for the current and future Army.
- Provide knowledge of the full range of tactical ISR, EW, and Cyber Systems as required.
- Demonstrate operational and/or technical and educational experience in Combat, Combat Support, Combat Service Support, or combined arms formations and procedures, including synthetic training environments.
- Develop expertise with Force Development Human-Machine Integration (FDH) programs, which may include robotic combat vehicles, small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (sUAS), loitering munitions, robotics, modular mission payloads, advanced autonomous behaviors, machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, synthetic training devices, and networks.
Qualifications
- Military Intelligence experience at the tactical, operational, strategic, and national levels.
- Familiarity with doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures of Army intelligence units and equipment.
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and synchronize working groups in support of SPAR, POM, and AROC.
- Ability to write and brief information on assigned Programs.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
