This role provides security support by monitoring and protecting assigned facilities and grounds through patrol activities and access control. Performs a variety of security‑related duties under general supervision and responds to incidents as needed. Requires experience in security operations and the ability to work flexible schedules based on business needs.ResponsibilitiesPeriodically patrol buildings and grounds of industrial plants, commercial establishments, docks, logging camp areas, or work sites.Perform guardhouse and gate safeguarding duties.Conduct foot patrols and mobile patrols.Respond to emergencies, including providing CPR when required.Monitor and maintain site safety and security procedures.Complete assigned security tasks under general supervision.Utilize judgment and established procedures to support daily operations.Work collaboratively with supervisors and management as needed.Skills RequiredSecurity operations experience (4–6 years preferred)Knowledge of standard security concepts, practices, and proceduresAbility to patrol and monitor facilities effectivelyEmergency response and incident handling skillsStrong observation and decision‑making skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionCPR capabilityEducation / Training / CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredActive Hawaii Guard Card (required)CPR certification preferredAdditional RequirementsMust pass a drug screening and background checkCandidates must have an active Hawaii Guard Card; applications without an active card will not be considered.Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Officers will not carry any type of weapons.Must be able to work rotating schedules based on business needs.Available shifts include:7:00 AM – 3:30 PM3:00 PM – 11:30 PM11:30 PM – 8:00 AMStart times are not guaranteed and will depend on operational requirements.Pay Rate / SalaryPay Rate: $25 per hourHarveStaff LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
