Administrative Clerk – Expand Your Experience With Court-Related Operations

We are hiring an Administrative Clerk to support our client's busy administrative and court-related operations in Biddeford, Maine. This position pays $23 per hour and is a long-term temporary assignment that offers consistent weekday hours and valuable experience in a structured, professional environment.

Typical Daily Duties:
  • Provide internal and external customer service, including answering and directing phone calls
  • Perform data entry, document filing, scanning, faxing, and record keeping
  • Docket, process, and file matters, and assist with scheduling and maintaining records
  • Handle and process fines, fees, and payments, maintaining accurate ledgers and accounts
  • Prepare reports and abstracts for agencies and maintain documentation as required
  • Communicate professionally with the public, judges, attorneys, and government agencies
  • Operate recording equipment, maintain logs, and support courtroom or hearing activities
  • Assist with jury management tasks, including preparing lists and sending questionnaires
  • Monitor office supplies and provide general administrative support as needed
What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience with office work required
  • Legal industry experience preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment and computer systems
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive information
