We are recruiting a Fire Training Specialist to coordinate training, prevention, and community education initiatives across Alaska.ResponsibilitiesReview, develop, and coordinate training programs aligned with local and national standards.Design, implement, and deliver comprehensive training curricula for fire service, public, and industry stakeholders.Support and advance fire prevention and community safety initiatives through innovative education and outreach.QualificationsAssociate degree in Fire Science Technology or a closely related field.Three years of fire prevention or suppression experience, with at least one year as a trainer or instructor.Certification as a fire service instructor desirable.Valid Alaska driver's license.Willingness to travel to remote and rural communities, including air travel.BenefitsFlexible work schedule to accommodate host organizations.
