This individual will play a critical role, deploying into dynamic environments to build, configure, and stabilize OpenShift infrastructure while ensuring reliability, availability, and integration with mission-critical applications. The role is highly hands-on, with a strong focus on leading deployments, creating and standardizing runbooks, and driving automation through tools such as Rundeck to support system administration, deployment workflows, and incident response. This engineer will serve as a key escalation point, troubleshooting complex issues across Kubernetes, Linux, and broader infrastructure layers, while leading break/fix efforts, performing root cause analysis, and restoring system functionality under time-sensitive conditions. In addition, the role requires maintaining security compliance within classified environments and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve issues spanning networking, storage, operating systems, and platform services.
