AI / Emerging Tech Security Analyst

What if your security instincts could directly shape how the world's most advanced AI systems defend themselves against attack? We're looking for AI Security Analysts to stress-test frontier models probing for vulnerabilities, classifying risks, and helping ensure that cutting-edge AI remains safe, reliable, and resistant to misuse.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for security professionals who are curious about AI and want to work at the intersection of two of the most consequential fields in tech. If you know how systems get exploited and you're fascinated by how AI models behave under pressure, this is your opportunity to do work that actually matters.

  • Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand how models behave under adversarial, unexpected, or edge-case conditions
  • Review and evaluate prompt injection attacks, data leakage risks, model abuse patterns, and system misuse cases
  • Classify security issues by real-world impact and likelihood, and recommend appropriate mitigations
  • Help evaluate and improve AI system behavior so it remains safe, aligned, and resistant to exploitation
  • Work with realistic, hands-on scenarios drawn directly from frontier AI development
  • Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule
  • Background in cybersecurity, information security, or a closely related technical field
  • Strong understanding of modern threat modeling principles applied to AI or emerging technologies
  • Familiar with attack vectors such as prompt injection, adversarial inputs, data poisoning, or model misuse
  • Analytical and precise you approach complex systems with rigor and intellectual curiosity
  • Comfortable evaluating ambiguous situations and forming well-reasoned, structured conclusions
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing, red teaming, or vulnerability research
  • Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) are built, deployed, and evaluated
  • Background in AI safety, responsible AI, or AI governance
  • Experience with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, or similar
  • Prior exposure to AI research environments or ML engineering workflows
  • Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-stakes work
  • Contribute to AI safety at a critical moment in the development of transformative technology
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
