# Dispatcher**Friesland, Wisconsin****Dispatch** is responsible for the daily productivity of the Adams Transit truck drivers. This team works directly with customers and brokers, ensuring operational success and financial profitability while providing on-time ***Service* *Excellence*** . They communicate directly with the drivers, handle computer input of daily assignments, monitor the electronic logs and help to bring new drivers on-board. ### **Main duties include:*** Managing daily pick-up and delivery assignments for the fleet, including minimizing down time and keeping the drivers moving* DOT Compliance/FMCSA* Answering calls that come into the department (mainly brokers and drivers)* Coaching truck drivers when issues arise, cultivating their skills and performance as drivers* Promoting teamwork among coworkers and drivers### Benefits* Health insurance with a Health Reimbursement Arrangement* Dental and Vision insurance* Life and Disability* Flexible Spending* 401k with a match* Paid Time Off after 6 months* Referral bonus program### Requirements* At least 2-3 years of industry experience in fleet management or operations capacity within the transportation industry •* A thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations* Must have effective multi-tasking abilities* Good written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communicating with peers, drivers, etc.)* Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems/programs* Ability to function in (at times) a high stress environment and problem solve* Former experience as a truck driver a plus* Current CDL also very helpful#J-18808-Ljbffr
