JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the management of the regulatory affairs function (for multiple jurisdictions for the Utility Group only) in accordance with applicable governing statues, regulations and orders of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and State Regulatory Commissions (collectively, Commissions), and in accordance with regulatory techniques and practices appropriate within the natural gas and electric industries, to maximize earnings and services to customers while operating within governmental regulations, company policy and legal requirements. Responsible for placing safety as priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, engineering, or related field; and Seven years of accounting, finance/business, or engineering experience with increasing level of responsibilities in regulatory and prior leadership experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary coordinator for electric and/or natural gas rate cases, managing timelines, schedules, and deliverables from initial planning through commission orders. Perform high-level reviews of analytical materials to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or procedural risks prior to filing. Develop and maintain templates, checklists, and process documentation to improve efficiency, consistency, and knowledge transfer across rate cases. Coordinate the intake, assignment, tracking, and timely response to discovery requests from commissions, commission staff, consumer advocates, and intervenors. Maintain current understanding of applicable statutes and commission rules and regulations. Interpret and comply with the various Commissions' filing requirements. Analyze any proposed changes, which affect area of responsibility and make recommendations as appropriate. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CPA or MBA with a degree in accounting, economics, finance, engineering, or related field. Prior analytical or accounting experience. Prior project management experience. Experience with energy economics, conservation and energy efficiency programs, or economic regulation of public utilities.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered. Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks. Required to maintain a valid driver's license. Requires travel - minimal (up to 10%)

Offers Typically Range Between $97,110 - $121,390
