We are seeking a Physical Security Project Manager to oversee and drive key security initiatives for our client in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for managing the development and implementation of construction site security programs, security risk management, and policy development. The Project Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and security teams to ensure compliance with security policies, manage project timelines, and oversee contract execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in physical security, construction project management, and risk assessment, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires full-time, on-site presence with some fieldwork (10-25%).
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the development of construction site security programs and security risk management policies.
- Oversee multiple security projects to ensure completion within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, risk management plans, and financial reports.
- Serve as the Contracting Officers Technical Representative (COTR) for security-related projects.
- Develop and track statements of work (SOWs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and contract deliverables.
- Monitor general contractor performance to ensure adherence to security requirements and contract terms.
- Develop communications plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and post orders for security operations.
- Conduct impact assessments, financial risk analysis, and cost estimating for security projects.
- Implement automated reporting mechanisms and dashboards to track project performance.
- Ensure all security projects align with Enterprise Project Management methodologies and compliance standards.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and briefings to key stakeholders.
- PMP certification required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in physical security, construction, or infrastructure.
- Strong background in contract management, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
