This role will successfully and professionally communicate with suppliers, customers, drivers, internal departments, and terminal locations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTrack and trace drivers, tractors and shipments for on time delivery.Effectively manage drivers using current company policies and procedures.Dispatch drivers to and from facility while managing driver routes.Communicate effectively with drivers, internal and external customers.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.ExperiencePrior dispatch, route management and dispatching experience is a plus. Working knowledge in logistics and manufacturing is preferred. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsible and dependable.Computer SkillsProficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook email required. Knowledge of TMW software is a plus.
