At International Auto Processing LLC, the Scanner is responsible for assisting supervisor with load line activity and organizing and lead small groups of employees for any assigned task.Esnure that vehicle location procedures are completed in a timely and organized manner on an ongoing basisOrganize and lead small groups of employees to work campaigns or consolidationsTroubleshoot problems that may arise with the account as instructed by the Field SupervisorPerform final inspection in load lines on allocated vehiclesBe Familiar with specific procedures for handling the account so that work assignments can be made in the absence of the Field SupervisorServe as a role model to other employees in both work performance and adherence to policies and proceduresPromote the goal of safety and the prevention of on-the-job accidents resulting in injury to employees and propertyEnsure a spotter is present when backing up vehiclesMaintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safetyPerform other duties as assignedShift: Monday – Friday with possible overtime and/or weekend work as neededMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED OR 1+ year work experience with no more than 2 employersValid US Driver's LicenseObtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland SecurityTrained to work with allocation reports, monronies, work labels, ship purification and marine surveysExperience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehiclesPreferred QualificationsMust have demonstrated commitment to safetyAbility to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructionsMust possess problem-solving abilities and be detail orientedPhysical Working ConditionsRepeatedly get in and out of a vehicle during the shift and step up approximately 18 inches into an open vanWork in outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects and other conditions which may exist from time to timeWork at heights of approximately 15 feetNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
