Duties

Primarily responsible for the implementation of policies and development of procedures for the physical protection

Coordinate with other installation elements and other agencies in the preparation of emergency plans

Prepare reports and makes recommendations for remedial actions when warranted to appropriate supervisors/chiefs

Advise the Director of Emergency Services on all physical security matters

Prepare, maintain and update the arms, ammunition and explosives and physical security plans

Present orientations and classes on physical security to security representatives/activity personnel

Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees
