Correctional Administrator – Department of CorrectionsSalary: $13,161.00 – $15,067.00 per Month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum alternate range when applicable.Final Filing Date: 7/9/2026Under the direction of the Chief Deputy Warden, the Correctional Administrator has primary custodial responsibility for a major area. The role plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the correctional program, including custody, healthcare, classification, appeals, business management, academic and vocational education, religious guidance, and coordinates these activities with other institutional programs. Responsibilities also include preparation and maintenance of fiscal records, budget estimates, budgetary control system, personnel records, payroll, maintenance, repair, and construction of the physical plant, equipment repair and replacement, clothing issue, laundry operation, and supervision, training, and evaluation of staff. Ability to lead staff, resolve conflicts, and conduct classification and disciplinary processes.
