Takes the appropriate action as necessaryMonitors the conduct of all visitors while on hospital property, stops unauthorized persons for questioning as neededControls disordered persons and emergency situations. Contacts the Police and/or Fire Dept. as necessaryCompletes written reports, which include, but are not limited to the following: daily activities, incidents, traffic and safety investigation reportsSecures and/or unlocks offices and premisesRestrains patients when necessaryMaintains a current, valid driver's licenseControls access to the facility and parking areasAssists in providing additional shift coverage as required or needed.
