This safety-sensitive position is responsible for scheduling rides, communicating with drivers, and ensuring passengers are transported safely and on time. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and helping your community, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Do:Answer incoming calls and schedule transportation requests.Dispatch drivers using a two-way radio communication system.Prepare driver schedules and daily manifests.Coordinate transportation for medical appointments and out-of-county trips.Communicate with passengers, families, agencies, and staff regarding transportation.Monitor vehicle and driver status and assist with maintenance communication.Review driver paperwork and complete required reports.Help coordinate driver schedules to maximize efficiency.Provide excellent customer service.Serve as a backup driver when needed.Assist the General Manager with office operations and other assigned duties.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.One year of office experience preferred.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.Basic computer skills, including email and word processing.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.Must successfully pass required background checks, driving record review, and drug screening.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.Ability to bend, kneel, twist, push, pull, and assist passengers when necessary.Must meet applicable DOT/FMCSA physical qualifications if driving agency vehicles.Benefits Include:Employee, Employee Child, or Family Medical InsuranceDental and Vision CoverageCompany-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityVoluntary Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO) and Medical TimeTuition AssistanceAbout Cardinal ServicesCardinal Services is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering people with disabilities to live full, meaningful lives.
