- Performs signs, pavement markings and traffic control duties safely within the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), LCUASS standards and the City of Fort Collins handbook.
- Pre-marks sign installation locations and fabricate and install signs independently without supervision.
- Performs unskilled and skilled manual labor, and semi-skilled work in the operation of tools, automotive, and specialized equipment involved in planning and implementing traffic control, sign repair and painting operations.

- Class B Commercial Driver License Required (preferred tanker endorsement).
- Colorado State Flagger and Work Zone Certification.
- Requires IMSA Level I Signs and Markings Certification within one year per testing availability.
- IMSA Signals 101 class within a reasonable time frame from hire.
- Graco Certified Service Technician Certification within a reasonable time frame from hire.
- Ability to complete and maintain Traffic Safety Services Association TCS Certification within a year of hire.
- Must have Forklift certification.
