Senior M365 Senior Cloud Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced, skilled, and passionate Senior M365 Senior Cloud Engineers to support enterprise-wide Microsoft implementation and maintenance projects for large U.S. Federal government agencies. Ideal candidates possess the technology skills, curiosity, and experience to drive Microsoft solutions through all parts of their lifecycle.
Role and Responsibilities:
Configure and manage Microsoft 365 (M365) applications and services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, and Outlook.
Support client migrations from on-premises systems to M365.
Enhance security by managing identities and access, implementing threat detection and response, and overseeing data retention.
Implement and manage virtual environments for desktops and servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with client systems and infrastructure.
Configure and manage enterprise applications.
Define and implement governance and policy changes.
Automate Office 365 processes using PowerShell, with potential reuse of ISD solutions.
Conduct application and workload migrations.
Ensure data protection, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and SharePoint security measures.
Required Skills:
A minimum of TS/SCI with CI polygraph
Minimum of five (5) years of Tier II or three (3) years of Tier III Microsoft M365 support.
Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
3+ years configuring and administering Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, security settings, and compliance policies.
Experience in migrating from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365, including data migration and hybrid configurations.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features, compliance standards, and data protection measures.
Advanced proficiency scripting in PowerShell for automation and management of Microsoft 365 tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Strong written and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Microsoft Administrator and Azure certifications.
Experience in security engineering with Microsoft solutions.
Understanding of networking concepts and how they relate to cloud services and Microsoft 365 connectivity.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing models and subscription management
$175,000 - $190,000 a year The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, TrueTandem considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
