Armed Security Officer State Building

Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location; Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and actions taken; Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, hazardous conditions, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel; Operate in accordance with post orders and applicable firearm protocols, maintaining preparedness to support public-facing operations and coordinated response efforts when needed
