Crossing Guard (On-Call) Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 11.22 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:00pm)

• Stopping traffic with hand signals or a STOP paddle
• Verbally directs children to cross the street.
• First person in the street and the last person out of the street.
• Alert motorists that pedestrians are in the process of using the school crossing.

Crossing Guard (On-Call) Qualifications:

• Must have a clean background
• Previous Crossing Guard experience preferred
• Must have a reliable mode of transportation to get to and from assigned location
• Knowledge of current Utah traffic laws; emergency procedures; basic safety rules and traffic control hazards.

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
