This role supports sensitive activities and Special Access Programs within the Air Force and Department of Defense.Key ResponsibilitiesCounterintelligence and Security Analysis - Plan, organize, and evaluate Air Force security and the viability and effectiveness of highly sensitive and often highly classified programs and plans supporting sensitive activities and Special Access Programs within the Air Force and Department of Defense.Research, analyze, review, and provide meaningful recommendations to senior leadership regarding security, counterintelligence, and signature reduction issues.Provide written products to senior leadership when appropriate.Prepare future threat analysis assessments.Program Review and CoordinationProvide prompt review and coordination of unique and highly classified proposals requiring broad knowledge of Air Force, Department of Defense, federal, and non-federal organizations, tactics, policies, and processes.Support sensitive intelligence collection programs and other sensitive activities primarily supporting the Air Force, as well as the broader Department of Defense.Ensure detailed coordination for sensitive activities and Special Access Programs does not disclose national security intent, capabilities, or vulnerabilities.Brief selected portions of sensitive activities and Special Access Program matters to senior Air Force and Department of Defense officials, both verbally and in writing.Vulnerability Assessment and Mission SupportIdentify, assess, and provide recommendations for potential security vulnerabilities.Review pertinent security directives, regulations, and instructions to ensure compliance.Provide prompt and responsive customer support and subject matter expertise as required to ensure mission and task accomplishment.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree and 4 years of experience; or Associate degree and 6 years of experience; or 8 years of experience with no degree.Experience4 years of intelligence or counterintelligence experience in a Department of Defense component.#J-18808-Ljbffr
