Job Title

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for planning, developing, providing, controlling, and evaluating the Department of Justice program for continuing legal training and education for both attorneys and support staff in the United States Attorney's Offices (USAOs), Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys and the Office of the U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA), and other components of the Department of Justice.

Typical work assignments will include:

  • Approves annual, multi-year and long-range work plans from lower-level leaders or contract managers, to enhance achievement of program goals and objectives.
  • Exercises discretionary authority to approve the allocation and distribution of funds in the organization's budget.
  • Provides subject matter expert (SME) guidance and direction to staff concerning the design and installation and operations.
  • Continuously assesses the quality of the services provided and makes recommendations for improvement and develops and implements necessary changes to increase program efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manages the periodic assessment and evaluation of security effectiveness in physical security practices.
