Job Description

Dispatcher--Acts as the main point of contact between drivers, carriers, shippers, clients, insurance providers, and service partners to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely deliveries. Coordinate and manage the transportation of freight and vehicle deliveries for a fleet of 13 trucks from pickup to destination. Dispatch drivers and monitor 13 vehicles to ensure on-time performance. Prepare and organize all necessary transportation and shipping documents, including lease agreements and freight paperwork. Communicate with carriers, shippers, receivers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations. Obtain insurance quotes for trucks and drivers and coordinate with insurance providers. Resolve issues with loadboards and add drivers to ELD service providers. Provide regular shipment status updates to clients and address any service-related concerns. Perform data entry related to loads, rates, driver information, lease agreements, and delivery confirmations. Handle accounting tasks including depositing checks, making ACH payments to drivers, invoicing, rate confirmations, and payment tracking. Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery confirmations, driver information, invoices, other transportation-related documents, and customer communications. Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and service provider requirements. Assisting drivers with the use of dispatch, tracking, and electronic logging applications to ensure proper communication and compliance. Coordinating with brokers, carriers, and service providers regarding load assignments. Planning and coordinating delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize delays. A high school degree and five months experience as a Dispatcher are required. Special Requirements: Proficiency in coordinating and managing the transportation of freight and vehicle deliveries from pickup to destination as shown by five months of experience in this area. Proficiency in preparing and organizing all necessary transportation and shipping documents, including lease agreements and freight paperwork as shown by five months of experience in this area. Proficiency in assisting drivers in using dispatch, tracking, and electronic logging applications to ensure proper communication and compliance as shown by five months of experience in this area. Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of shipments, delivery confirmations, driver information, invoices, other transportation-related documents, and customer communications as shown by five months of experience in this area.
