You'll greet every guest with a warm welcome, keep an eye out for safety concerns, de-escalate any rowdy behavior, and ensure everyone—guests and staff alike—can enjoy the ride.Duties & ResponsibilitiesBe the face of chill—greet guests with a friendly attitude and make everyone feel like part of the Cantina fam from the moment they arriveKeep it safe: monitor the crowd and venue to ensure a relaxed and secure environment at all timesControl foot traffic, check IDs, and spot fake ones like a proEnforce dress code and company policies in a respectful and professional wayStay alert and proactively prevent or de-escalate any heated situations before they become a problemUse your best judgment and make quick calls that are in the best interest of the team and guestsBe a brand ambassador—carry yourself with confidence, lead with respect, and represent what the Big Chill is all aboutQualificationsMust be 21+ years oldPrior hospitality, nightlife, or restaurant, and/or security experience is a plus, but not requiredA naturally calm, confident presence and the ability to take charge when neededStrong communication and people skills—you're approachable, respectful, and not afraid to speak up when neededAbility to stay cool under pressure (even when things get a little wild)A sense of humor and love for the Cantina culture never hurts eitherMust be a team player— Cantina is one big family.Must possess reliable transportation to and from workMust be eligible to work in the United StatesFlexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed; ability to balance personal and professional lifeHours & PayThis position starts at $18/hour and offers awesome employee perks.
