Overview Skylight Forestry, Inc. is hiring full-time (contractual basis) Inventory Foresters. Reporting to the Owner, you will collect high-quality data on forests and implement silvicultural prescriptions. The role focuses on timber cruising with field data collection and fieldwork.Responsibilities Collect high-quality forest data and conduct timber cruising.Implement silvicultural prescriptions as directed.Work toward quotas and meet timeline deliverables.Schedule workload flexibly to meet project needs where possible.Qualifications Experience in timber cruising and forest data collection.Ability to work on forestry projects and meet production quotas.Willingness to work on multiple sites and travel as needed.Compensation Pay: $400.00 – $600.00 per day with production bonuses.Employment Type Type: Full-time, Contract. Employee positions considered.Locations Current needs are on the Mark Twain National Forest near Salem, Missouri (Summer/Fall 2027) and Florida (Fall/Winter 2026); other projects throughout the eastern United States may occur.
