Quality Innovation is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Traffic Control (TC)

Job Description:

Summary: The contractor shall provide traffic control personnel to safely direct pedestrians and vehicular traffic.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform visitor traffic control at various positions throughout ANC at all times during ANC's hours of operation.
• These positions should not be self-breaking; therefore, contractor personnel performing traffic control services shall always remain at their designated area of responsibility until relieved by other visitors' traffic control personnel.
• Provide brief information or directions so that it does not cause traffic delays or create unnecessary public safety risks.

Requirements:

• Traffic control personnel shall, at a minimum, possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of work experience involving vehicle/pedestrian traffic operations.
• Equivalent work experience includes, but is not limited to, controlling crosswalks, controlling intersections, and ensuring the safe flow of vehicles and pedestrians within the same space.
• Must understand safety considerations for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Security Requirements:

• Background Screening (NCIC criminal records check)

Skills:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language with sufficient fluency to support the requirements within this contract
• Possesses required state motor vehicle licenses or certifications for operating equipment and vehicles used in the execution of this contract

ANC - Air Force Memorial (AFM) - Traffic Controller - 1.6.4.1. Optional Task 2 Only Air Force Memorial Visitor Operations Services Hours of Operation: The contractor shall be available to support all functions outlined in PWS for the following hours, seven days a week, excluding the federal holidays listed below:
Winter: 0700 to 1800 from October 1 to March 31 (Winter/Fall)
Summer: 0700 to 1900 from April 1 to September 30 (Summer/Spring)

Of note: The Air Force Memorial is closed on the following holidays:
Christmas Day 25th day of December
Thanksgiving Day 4th Thursday in November
New Year's Day 1st day of January
