It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Department: CorrectionsGrade: 190Salary: $31.45/hourJob Duties:Responsible for interviewing inmates daily; collecting, verifying, coordinating, and recording inmate information manually and in the current inmate information computer system.Enters inmate data into the Objective Jail Classification System that identifies inmates' custody level and then assigns appropriate housing; determines the program needs of the inmate and makes appropriate referrals to education, substance abuse, mental health and other treatment programs.Coordinates treatment interventions for the inmate between the various divisions such as education, mental health, medical, probation and parole, and other involved parties.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, administration of justice, or any of the behavioral sciences with a minimum of 2 years of work in secure corrections or related field is required. Or four years of experience in a correctional institution.Associate's degree in behavioral sciences, or a related field with 3 years of work experience in corrections or related field may be considered.Four years of work experience in a secure correctional institution in lieu of a bachelor's degree may be considered.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must participate in and complete the detention academy training.Must submit to and pass a police background check, drug screen and physical examination.#J-18808-Ljbffr
